Richmond Dental Assistant School Cancellation & Refund Policy
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Textbook refund policy:
The Textbook is nonrefundable once the activation link has been processed and acknowledged. The Textbook code is specific to the individual user and cannot be reissued.
All fees and payments, with the exception of the nonrefundable registration fee ($100), paid to the school by a prospective student shall be refunded if the student is not admitted, does not enroll in the school, does not begin the program or course, withdraws prior to the start of the program, or is dismissed prior to the start of the program.
The school shall provide a period of at least three business days, excluding weekends and holidays, during which a student applicant may cancel his enrollment without financial obligation other than the $100 nonrefundable fee.
Following the three-business day period described above, a student applicant (one who has applied for admission to a school) may cancel, by written notice, their enrollment at any time prior to the first class day of the session for which application was made. When cancellation is requested under these circumstances, the school is required to refund all tuition paid by the student, less a maximum tuition fee $100. A student applicant will be considered a student as of the first day of classes.
The minimum refund policy for a school that financially obligates the student for the entire amount of tuition and fees for the entirety of a program or course shall be as follows:
a. A student who enters the school but withdraws or is terminated during the first quartile (25%) of the program shall be entitled to a minimum refund amounting to 75% of the cost of the program.
b. A student who withdraws or is terminated during the second quartile (more than 25% but less than 50%) of the program shall be entitled to a minimum refund amounting to 50% of the cost of the program.
c. A student who withdraws or is terminated during the third quartile (more than 50% but less than 75%) of the program shall be entitled to a minimum refund amounting to 25% of the cost of the program.
d. A student who withdraws after completing more than three quartiles (75%) of the program shall not be entitled to a refund.
Refunds will be processed within 45 days from the date of the student’s notification or from the date of the institution's notification regarding the student’s withdrawal.
